CPC10111 Certificate I in Construction
Core deliver this course in conjunction with secondary schools across Queensland as part of the Vet IN Schools (VETis) program.
The course can also be delivered to individuals looking for an entry level qualification into the Construction industry who are no longer attending school.
This course is an introduction to the construction industry and teaches skills that will help with entry into other programs and possibly apprenticeships. The skills developed by completing this course give students a thorough understanding in the basics of the construction industry.
Students will complete a range of theoretical and practical tasks and projects throughout their training
Over 78% of students who complete this course are employed or go onto further study.

VET in Schools (VETis)
Vocational Education and Training in Schools (VETiS) is delivery of nationally recognised qualifications to school students, providing them with the skills and knowledge required for employment in specific industries. VETiS qualifications can be undertaken in years 10, 11 and 12, and can count towards the Queensland Certificate of Education.
Students are eligible to complete one qualification under the program.

This course will be delivered either at a high school or onsite at our campus and cover subjects such as workplace health and safety, the tools used in construction and how to use them, how to understand plans, and undertake measures and calculations and how a construction workplace functions from the start of a project through to completion.
On completion, you will be eligible to receive the qualification CPC0111 Certificate I in Construction
